Why Racism Should NOT Be Tolerated?

Why can’t people understand that skin pigment means nothing about the person who resides in it? Hispanic, Latino, African, European, Asian, American, etc doesn’t change the fact that we should treat each other with respect. Differences are good and should be valued not diminished. Just as blacks should never be harmed for their skin, whites should not be entitled because of theirs. African Americans are being tortured to the point of death. As humans we have the right and responsibility to uphold the dignity of all the living, not just one race or ethnicity. We often see white cruelty towards blacks as not a big deal. When the tables are turned people care. Why should there be a double standard for some while no mercy for others. Just because one person committed a crime doesn’t mean every person like them is a criminal. The same goes for terrorists, tyrants, rapists, traffickers, racists, and the list goes on. It takes one person to make a mistake for an entire nation to type cast a particular population as bad. As one nation UNDER GOD we should stand up for the equality of all people no matter who they are. After all, to be human is to make mistakes. God forgives and understands, so should we. God loves all of His people. There is not an exception for any particular race. We are all equal yet unique in God’s eyes. He formed us perfectly for our purpose, which is to honor Him in the way we are called. So yes we are all perfectly flawed human beings, but that doesn’t give us the right to strike and humiliate another for simply being human. Racism in America goes deeper than skin pigment. We are stricken by sin that is overtaking the common sense and morality which we declared in our independence. After all of these laws, amendments, rights, constitutions, and declarations being upheld year after year for centuries do they now not matter? I am embarrassed and appalled at our current situation. Sorry for the rant, but I could go on an on. So please, if you get absolutely anything out of this, love is what our nation and quite frankly the world needs right now. We are all fighting our own battles, but together we must fight the greater battles being thrown our way. The only way out is together. If we fight amongst ourselves the battle will indefinitely win. Let’s put our differences aside to come together as one and stand up for all!
